Our volunteer schedule is summarized below, but the most reliable place to look is our sign up form, as that site reflects any last minute changes. Volunteers generally don't have to commit to a full shift; stop by when you can and stay as often as you'd like!
FYI - masks are required inside the pantry during all volunteer shifts. We always have them on hand if you don't have one with you! 😷😷If you're not feeling well, please stay home and rest! |

Volunteer Schedule
Drivers are also specifically needed on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays to pick up bread from bakeries and bring it to the pantry. See the form to sign up 🚗🚗🚗
- Mondays 7am-11am: Food Pantry
- Tuesdays 11am-2pm: Astoria Houses
- Tuesdays 3pm-4pm: Bread Packing and Deliveries
- Tuesdays 6pm-7:30pm: Grocery Packing and Distribution
- Wednesdays 11am-3pm and 4pm-7pm: Free Store (closed first Wednesday of each month)
- Thursdays 3PM-6PM: Pantry Cleaning
- Fridays 11am-2pm: Queensbridge Houses
- Saturdays 8am-1:30pm: Grocery Packing and Deliveries
- Last Sunday of each month 11-2: Donation Day for Free Store
