Astoria Workers Coalition
We are a group of volunteers, neighbors, and workers. We host events in the pantry to bring workers together to meet each other, discuss workers issues, and organize ourselves to improve our lives and create democracy in the workplace.
Our meetings are open to all workers who are interested in these issues. If you have a boss, if you depend on a paycheck to pay for housing and food, you are welcome at the Astoria Workers’ Coalition. You don't even have to live or work in Astoria. The only exception are the police, who as the armed enforcers of the bosses and ruling class, are unwelcome at our meetings.
